CREST received 300,000 meals from Taylor's Education Group in conjunction with World Food Day 2011. The food will be distributed to victims of disasters locally and overseas.
Typhoon Nesat/Pedring, a powerful typhoon with wind gusts of up to 150kmh, unleashed flood waters that killed at least 18 people in Metro Manila & sent huge waves crashing not only over strong seawalls but over New Smokey Mountain shanties too.

CREST(crisis relief services and training bhd) is a non-profit faith based organisation registered in 1998 in Malaysia. CREST has responded to many disasters in more than 20 countries during typhoons, cyclones, floods, tsunamis, earthquakes etc. CREST bring medical teams, food, water, building shelters, warm clothes , training for trauma care depending on the needs of the affected country.
CREST/HIS team – segamat flood relief Feb 2011 64 volunteers from kuala lumpur and johor churches came together for a 1 day cleaning, distribution and cooking.
Working with local partners, CREST has been distributing cooked food for the past 4 days to 600 flood victims being housed temporarily in 2 school buildings in Charsadda.
