CREST's training programs have been developed by specialists to provide attendees with fundamental knowledge and skills to be ready to serve in crisis related situations.

Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM)
CISM is a form of crisis prevention. It covers all phases of crisis from pre-crisis through acute crisis phase, and into post-crisis phase. It is also considered comprehensive in that it consists of interventions which may be applied to individuals, small functional groups, large groups, families, organization and even communities.

Course Outline:
This Basic CISM training is a 2 module course which will enable the participants who have completed the course to:
Help survivors deal with the psychological effects of disasters and other traumatic events;
Help to psychologically prepare aid-workers and relief workers who will be deployed to post disaster situations;
Help aid-workers and relief workers deal with trauma caused by exposure to disaster situations.
Certificate:
At the end of the 16 hours training and completion of Modules 1 and 2, a Basic Certificate will be awarded by Global Mosaic International Inc.

Disaster Relief School (DRS)
Course Outline:
Biblical perspective on disasters;
Disaster response in earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, floods, famines;
God's heart for the poor and needy;
Advance assessment;
Logistics (advance planning, procurement, warehousing, transportation, distribution);
Incident command systems;
Team dynamics in disaster response;
Wilderness survival skills;
Base camp set-up;
Ministering to the traumatised, PTSD, CISD;
First responders, triage and first aid;
Engineering in relief work;
Cross-cultural communications;
Children's ministry in disaster relief;
Spiritual warfare in disaster response.

Triage, Diagnostics Signs and Victim Assessment
This course provides an overview of triage, which includes scene safety, primary assessment, secondary assessment and transport - 3rd phase evacuation to the hospital.
