Pakistan Flood 2010

Team of 6 malaysians left for Peshawar/Charsadda area in NWFP-Pakistan Oct 15-23, 2010

Objective : medical clinic, distribution of winter blankets, education kits, installation of biosand water filtration units.

The 4 mobile medical clinics were very well attended. Within minutes of arrival under police escort- we were swarmed. A total of 900 patients were given medical attention.

CREST distributed 100 warm comforters – to 2 villages in Charsadda/Nowshera.

CREST and local partners assembled , installed 100 biosand water filtrations units, where water supply was disrupted ,contaminated, and irregular.

Want to say a big THANK YOU for ALL support given. Shortly after checking out of our residence, a bomb blast exploded -killing and injuring many innocent bystanders. Do remember Pakistan . Multitudes that live in darkness, destitute , poverty and hopelessness needs the LIGHT.
